The Philips LFH7177 combines a USB foot control, lightweight under-chin headphones and a two-year SpeechExec Basic Transcribe subscription. It equips a Windows transcription station for listening and typing without moving your hands away from the keyboard.

Compatibility and setup

Philips’ current SpeechExec documentation specifies Windows 11 Pro/Enterprise, a compatible sound device, a USB port, a 1 GHz dual-core processor and 4 GB RAM. These are the current Philips software requirements; use the requirements for the SpeechExec release you install. The manuals describe administrator rights for installation, internet activation and an internet connection at least once every seven days when working offline.

Connect ACC2330 to a free USB port, connect the headphones to a compatible 3.5 mm audio output, and complete the SpeechExec hardware configuration wizard. Basic Transcribe plays recorded dictation for typing; it is not an included speech-recognition service.
