Choose a slide switch when you want to feel your recording position under your thumb. The Philips SpeechMike Premium Touch SMP3710 combines wired USB audio, slide-switch recording and touchpad navigation in a handheld microphone for desk-based dictation and speech recognition.

Applications and setup
The Premium Touch SMP3710 supports audio workflows with Dragon Medical One (DMO), Nuance Dragon Professional 16 and Dragon Professional Anywhere. Use a supported Windows setup for DMO and select the microphone in the application.
Philips SpeechLive also lists the SMP3710 for browser dictation. Use the documented Chrome or Edge hardware setup, including Philips Device Connector and Event mode where required. Map the slide switch and function keys to the recording commands your application supports; audio capture alone does not configure those commands. Philips SpeechControl is available for Windows and macOS with limited Mac functionality, and remote-workstation setups need their own device integration.
Philips SpeechControl drivers and configuration tools are free downloads. Paid dictation and speech-recognition applications are purchased separately; this hardware offer includes no paid license or subscription.
